Progetti di passione
Oltre a conciliare un lavoro a tempo pieno, la crescita di due bambini piccoli (di 6 e 7 anni) e il conseguimento del master, sono impegnato anche in diversi altri progetti che documentano la storia della mia città.

History of Piedmont
Driven by a passion for local history and the need for accessible information, I created a comprehensive website dedicated to the history of Piedmont, California. Recognizing the lack of a free and complete official digital record, I embarked on this project to document and share the rich heritage of Piedmont with the community and beyond. Through extensive research and collaboration, I aim to provide a valuable resource that preserves and celebrates the unique stories and historical milestones of this vibrant city, including the often overlooked and whitewashed aspects of its past.
Remembering the Dearings
Over 100 years ago my hometown of Piedmont, CA (along with the majority of the Bay Area) had racially restricted homes, a KKK Police Chief, bombs threats and a 500 person mob forcing Sidney and Irene Dearing, our city's first black home owners, to leave their home because of the color of their skin.
Today our City is recognizing the family and formally apologizing for our past citizens' atrocious behaviors with the help of my reasearch.
A walk through history
“Walking on Wednesdays” (WoW) is a walking group activity sponsored by the Piedmont Recreation Department in which participants walk Piedmont’s streets each week for about ninety minutes. Walks are informal, providing physical and social activity in a casual, nonpartisan environment while listening to local history. In an effort to preserve their historical value I have created a website documenting their stories.
Bougie Bohemians
The Bourgeoisie Bohemians who ran footloose in the Piedmont foothills with the intoxicating golden Crowd. George Sterling (poet) and his wife Carrie, Herman "Jim" Whitaker (author), Ambrose Bierce (author), Richard Partington (art) and his wife Blanche, Joseph Noel (journalist and author), Joaquin Miller (poet), Arnold Genthe (photographer) and the hosts, Jack London (author) and Xavier "Marty" Martinez (painter).
